They are not heavy towels (which we wanted) but are still very absorbent.

Love these towels

I actually love the size of the bath sheets plus the weight of the towels. They are very absorbent, wide enough to comfortably wrap around a larger person and long enough to give great coverage. I have washed these towels many times and they are holding up great. As one reviewer said, they are thinner than say the Matouk bath sheets that are frankly a pain to wash a big load of. I have actually given my Matouk bath sheets away because they were just too thick and heavy. If that is the weight you want, you need to stay away from these and go with Matouk.
