nice steak set
These are not your average steak knives. I love this set. The Japanese blades are super sharp. They are made from super hard steel that is twice hardened to allow them to be ultra thin yet durable. The slim blade profile and acute angle give accurate thinslices. The Western style handle is very comfortable to hold and feels nice in my hand.

This stunning Miyabi set of steak knives by Red Morimoto are some of the best you will find. The combo of high-carbon German stainless steel along with a thin Japanese blade handcrafted in Seki, Japan, will amaze you by how they glide through meats and how thin the slices can be! They come in a wooden presentation box for storage and to keep them safe. Ice-hardened so you can feel their sharpness and durability and know they will not chip or rust. A very special set indeed!

These Morimoto edition steak knives are crafted with all the beauty and details of the larger kitchen knife series. The authentic Japanese blade with an impressive 9.5 to 12 degree edge is adorned with a more familiar feeling western handle. The specially formulated steel is corrosion and chip resistant and these steak knives have a fine edge that can be sharpened when necessary unlike serrated edge steak knives. You will be looking for reasons to serve steak as much as possible once you have these!

These steak knives are so pretty. It is a great mixture of Western and Eastern techniques. The three riveted handle is very comfortable and balanced. The blade is extremely sharp yet durable.

Japanese Sharpness, German Design
You get the best of both worlds with these knives. They're made in Japan and have that incredibly sharp blade, key to paper thin slices of meat. The blades are constructed from high carbon German steel that is very durable and corrosion resistant. The handles have the great curves and three rivets that have made the German knives a favorite for hundreds of years. You will be amazed at how cleanly sliced steak tastes even better than when you use a serrated knife. Slicing instead of tearing means less flavor and juice loss. There is also far less effort when compared to a serrated knife as there's no need to saw back and forth.

This is a beautiful set of steak knives to match your Miyabi Morimoto collection or as a stand alone set. These fine edge blades with 12.5 degree angles for smooth slicing are easy to keep sharp with proper care.
