Nice bag but NOT leather. It's vinyl.

I love the look of this bag, I'm very happy with it. HOWEVER, the ad describes it as "luxurious leather." It is NOT leather, doesn't look like leather, and has a very chemical smell to it straight out of the box. It's clearly vinyl but that's ok. I decided to keep it anyway due to the low cost and the look of the bag. It's very nice. But it's vinyl.

smells like FISH!

I LOVE the design and size of the bag. Unfortunately, it wreaks of decaying fish. I've had an odor and moisture absorbing packet sitting inside the bag but it hasn't done anything to reduce the smell. I'm going to give it another day and then return the purse if the odor doesn't dissipate. I'm very disappointed and wouldn't recommend that Macy's continues to sell this bag or line if it's a common issue with other designs.
