Carpet pad smelled bad; had to return

Ordered this pad through the website, and was delivered on a timely basis. Unfortunately, the pad smelled funky and, despite trying to air it out, we had to return it. Not recommended.

Seems nice but smells like rubber tires. Have aired out for weeks in cold basement but no change. Cannot use ,but now past return window.
