Didn’t work out of the box!
I bought this for my 5 yr old son for Christmas and he was so excited about it because he has a ton of minis but no playset, but to our dismay once we put the batteries in (which was a challenge because they kept popping out before you could get the cover on) we placed it on a hard surface as instructed and loaded it up but it didn’t work. The light would flicker and I could hear a noise like a motor but no action. So be sure to keep your receipt handy if you purchase this ad it may be faulty!

I put Batteries in my venom velocity monster jam toy All of a sudden. Always keep blinking I don't know what's happening to it

Didn’t work
Like another review here, this toy did not work despite trying multiple sets of brand new batteries - it doesn’t seem to get power or function.

Does not work
Santa brought this for my 6 year old. Nothing happens after trying 4 sets of fresh batteries. A bit of a disappointment for Christmas morning.

Interesting new toy that loses interest quickly
Monster jam mini scorpion playset definitely needs to be assembled by an adult. There are a lot of instructions, which look intimidating but easy to assemble for the most part. Mini sets have become very popular. My older son does not appreciate them as much as my younger son. My younger son definitely gets a thrill out of the mini micro designs. Any boy that I have run across loves his monster trucks so this is a nice specific genre that I believe a lot of children will go for. Scorpion design is cool enough. Intriguing. The set is kind of flimsy so any rough housing would not do well. We all know how rough kids can be with toys. For the most part it's a cool toy. I only gave it a three-star because my younger son became bored of it quickly. When it was something new he played with it constantly. Now it's every now and again.

Easy set up
This set is amazing !!! My kids love this !! It was easy to put together and the kids love it. 😍 it’s ages 3 and up I would definitely listen to that because the car wheels are tiny very tiny. But they love it!

Fun toy
My son loves monster trucks and animals so I knew this would be a great toy. He loves how the track is a scorpion and the little trucks launch out. Also it stores the trucks also which is great. It kept my son interested and wanting to play with it for while. Keep it on a level surface and it works perfect.

Monster truck jam
This is a cute little monster jam mini play set that’s entertaining for little boys or girls who are obsessed with everything trucks and cars. It’s not incredibly big or have a lot of tracks but my kids usually play with it every other day or so. The assembly and instructions were simple. Comes with 2 little cars that seem decently made. Overall a nice little gift for a little person.
