Silver ring

I loved this ring so much; I wore it daily for a month. Then I looked down and realized it was silver because the plating was gone. It's just not the same ring and I don't want to wear it anymore. I don't know how long plating lasts, but if a month is normal, then I'll never buy anything plated again. What a waste. :( And I miss my pretty ring.
