The maxi dress is super comfortable to dress up or wear casually. It’s not a one time wear dress as it will suit any occasion. This was for a homegoing service. Blue was the deceased favorite color which I wore royally!

Black dress was not solid black

I had to return the dress, it was not solid black - had gold threads throughout. The description of the dress said nothing about the gold shiny threads. It was a beautiful dress but I needed SOLID black.

Disappointing to say the least !

What's happening to Macy's? I would have given 0 stars this time if I could because they are different dresses. I ordered the black maxi dress shown in a petite small which was too tight. Too bad, I loved it! I returned the petite, and I reordered the same dress in a regular small hoping it would fit. Same dress! I received a totally different dress. No round neck and gold thread throughout . There is a big difference in texture in the fabric and gold thread throughout . I was so disgusted and disappointed that I didn't even take it out of the plastic wrapping. Back to the store again tomorrow. I will remember this brand so that I don't order it again. It would be nice if someone has an explanation for this because I consider it an awful mistake. I have been ordering from Macy's for as long as I can remember and have never encountered this before. Please compare the two dresses in photos to see that they are identical.

Gold Thread Throughout

I ordered this dress thinking it was solid black which is what I wanted. Turns out “textured” in the description means gold thread running vertically throughout the dress. It is pretty, just not what I expected it to be. The gold thread doesn’t show in the photos. Disappointing,
