Love the socks, hate that the "no slip grip" sheds

I love Muk Luk cabin socks. They are very warm and cozy during Michigan winters. I appreciate that they are quite stretchy and are not too tight around the ankles, especially because I will frequently wear a second, thin sock under the cabin socks. I purchased this color along with Ebony Snowflake, and the black "no slip grip" is falling off the socks and shedding everywhere. It is very frustrating. I washed the socks on delicate, cool water, and hung to dry. I have an older pair with white grips, and this is not a problem. I am going to have to sit down one day and pluck all the black grippers off the socks so they don't continue to shed all over my floor and carpets.
