Never purchase this product. Buyer beware
As pretty as the item was, when watered the plant it produced many many gnats where we can't get rid of in our apartment. Now looking at exterminator. Never in our wildest dream would think it would come from this product. Somehow hidden in the dirt was gnat eggs. Now we are constantly trying to kill the many gnats in the house. Never ever buy this product. Gnats live in the soil of potted plants. So buyer beware. Unless you live with an exterminator, never ever buy this product.
I would definitely Buy this again as a gift !!
My grandaughters ages 6 and 3 thoroughly enjoyed setting it up and planting the seeds. They are so excited each day to go downstairs and see if anything has grown yet. Great toy.

Different, engaging and educational!

Magical and Relaxing!
I love this version of the My Fairy Garden, not only do you still have the magic of the fairy garden, but now it has its own musical and even an interactive fairy mushroom house that lights up! My kids really enjoy ""blowing out"" the light, and this feature really lends to the magic of the Fairy Light Garden!

Beautiful Design, Terrible Execution
The fairy garden is beautiful to look at and has a lot interesting details to it. I sat down with my 4 year old daughter and 6 year old son, and both wanted to play with the dirt, water, and seeds not actually plant anything. I think for some kids this concept may not be so great especially when it comes to playing with dirt. I had to empty it out and let them just play with the toy instead. The toy itself is flimsy and just not well made. It is easy to take a apart especially since I found pieces of it throughout my house later on. The light in the tower on the little house worked for a second and then never turned on again. I put in several different triple A batteries and nothing could get it to work for more than a second. My kids like playing with it, but honestly, I would have made this for older children and also with harder plastic.

FUN, FARIES & GARDENING
My eight year old and I had so much fun putting the The My Fairy Light Garden together and planting seeds. It was easy to put together. My daughter plays with her garden for hours a day. She wakes up every morning amazed at how fast her seedlings grow. My daughter has a love for gardening thanks to her Fairy Light Garden. She loves the glitter in the soil.
