The sticker in the middle is awful. The residue of the sticker got spread out all over the spoon.I tried to wash it with vinegar and hot water it didn't work. I am returning it.

Beautifully made though not cheap. Substantial weight and is definitely not flimsy. I never heard of the name brand Nambe, but will certainly research more of its product line, anticipating more fabulous items.

We recently remodeled our kitchen. I was eager to receive this spoon rest as it looks elegant and rich. For some careless reason, the company placed a sticker smack in the center of the spoon rest. It says "spoon rest" (the box is clearly labeled "spoon rest" as well). This sticker is unbelievably sticky and no amount of rubbing alcohol or acetone removes the adhesive. Surely there is better placement for this problematic sticker? Seriously - the adhesive spreads all over the otherwise gorgeous piece. It is a mess! I am returning it. Completely ridiculous packaging decision. So annoying and foolish.

I never thought much of spatula's - but this is as beautiful and elegant a spatula as I've ever seen! The silicone end is firm and fairly stiff. Highly recommend.

The 1 star is for placement of a sticker that says "spoon holder" The sticker is right in the middle of the top of the spoon rest and leaves a very sticky residue.
