very disappointed

The thongs do not grab ice cubes. We had to replace the thongs for different thongs that DO work. As it turns out, I paid a high price for this "design" piece and it turns out that the most attractive design feature (the thong) does not do its job... very disappointed

Modern and bold

Bold and modern design that looks great at the bar. The double-walled stainless steel doesn't seat, and it is easy to clean. This is great for parties, and for hanging out on the patio in the summer.

Simple yet bold

Loving the simple, sleek classic style of my Mikko Ice Bucket! The added detail of the ice tongs that hide in the lid is absolutely clever. The huge bonus, and a tip, is you can chill the base in the freezer so your ice keeps longer! It's a perfect addition to any bar or beverage cart and makes a bold statement!

Elegant & Modern ice bucket

Purchased as a wedding gift. Lovely ice bucket to coordinate with various other selected Nambe products. It is functional and decorative, adding elegance with a modern twist to all bar areas or a wet bar areas of a home.

BEAUTIFUL!

I had been eying this ice bucket for a couple of years now but didn't want to splurge because of the one bad review. Well, we had a big holiday party and my husband said to just go ahead and get it. Right away we loved it. Bigger than expected and really beautiful. We received compliments on it as well. The only reason it got 4 stars is because it can be slightly difficult to get the tongs out. If you love the look - definitely get it - you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful but defective

This was such a beautiful ice bucket that I after seeing it in the store, I ordered it online and had it shipped to a friend. Went I went to visit (out of town) she showed me the ice bucket and we noticed a defect in the lid. The wood was gouged out in one area. I took the item back to my hometown Bloomingdales. They ordered another ice bucket and sent it out to my friends. Just got a call from my friend that this lid is worse than the previous one. Where is the quality control department of Nambe? I am going to have them send this one back and will choose something else. No third chance. Slightly embarrassing!
