Rub gently until a black residue appears, then buff lightly with a soft polishing cloth to remove residue. Wash thoroughly with warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Does not work on older pieces. Composition of metal must have changed

This did not work on our Nambe Bowl. Not sure why. Used a ton, and some serious elbow grease.
