Nanit Home System

I already have a Nanit but I bought a Nanit home and secondary carmera. We’ve been using it as a nanny and secondary camera for our toddler when she is in another room. The Nanit home has been a nice edition to our system. I really like that it’s portable; however I think there can be some enhancements to the home system to maximize its utility.

Not Great

Hardware and app alike are clunky and leave much to be desired: - Required firmware updates take the camera offline for a period of time (consider some more memory, maybe) - Cry / sound detection not consistent (time for some updated ML models) - Frequent errors recalling videos (i. e. video unavailable) - App sometimes rotated upside down on my iPad - App is not user friendly, especially if you have more than one Nanit in your house - Pricey for overall lackluster performance

Wonderful Product

The Nannit was literally what my wife and I needed to help put our minds at ease. Our LO was bound and determined to stay sleeping on his stomach no matter how hard we tried to put him on his back. This helped us sleep soundly knowing his breathing was monitored. And the Nannit is extremely accurate as well. Would highly recommend especially if you have any anxiety about stomach sleeping.

System Great, Tablet Not

The Nanit baby monitor system is amazing. It is very easy to set up, very reliable, and super convenient to be able to use on your phone anytime anywhere. Our only issue is that the tablets battery does not even last a full sleep session.

New nanit fan

I like how well it pairs with my phone/wifi. The picture quality is great and it is easy to travel with. I do wish you had the ability move/rotate the camera from your phone remotely. Overall super pleased with it!
