Broken Item/Unbothered Customer Service

It arrived broken because it was just thrown in a box without proper packaging. This was a Christmas gift for someone. I called for a replacement and they said they didn't have another one. Customer service was very unbothered about my item being broken. They rushed to get me off the phone and move on to the next person. I will never shop Macy's again.
