Lights never worked correctly

The tree is beautiful but the light system is very hard to get connected properly. Year 2 a lot of lights wouldn’t come on. On our 3rd year half of the tree wouldn’t light up. We ended up having to cut all of the wires and lights out for hours to remove them from the tree and installing string lights to save our sanity.

Not a new product

Bought tree online during black Friday sale through Macy's sight. Arrived within a week. Outer box received in good condition, but when opened it appeared as if tree was not brand new, possibly a display or a return. There were no extra hinge pieces included, the caps were not attached to the sections, the tree appeared to be haphazardly tied up, there were no tags to identify the model of the tree or contents and no manual included which online description provided. One of the light units on the lower section was disconnected and could not find the other end to plug into. Tried to call the company directly and they were no help. Went in person to local Macy's store and sales associate was amazing, she helped us purchase the same tree for same discount plus additional 10% off with free rush delivery. We will hold on to current defective tree until we receive replacement.

Well worth the price. A lot of branches to separate and adjust. Love the different lights
