Great for walking!!

I had bought a pair of the suede Marianne shoes a year ago and walked all over Europe in them. They were comfortable, the soles are well made, and they are casual and dressy enough to go from jeans to a skirt. This time around I purchased the leather, they are true to size and thrilled with the purchase.

Extremely Comfortable but Falling Apart...

Because of my left foot bunionette, I have to get these shoes in WW. They are sooo comfortable but I just noticed the seam between the shoe and sole is coming apart. It could possibly be because of my high instep; but the top of the sole band is separating from the shoe at the metatarsophalangeal joint. I will be using shoe glue to repair these areas because they truly are comfortable; I just cannot recommend if you have a high instep.

Beware if you have high arches

This shoe will not work if you have a high arch. Very tight around the instep even with a wide. Also runs 1/2 size large. I recommend going down 1/2 size and ordering a wide even if you normally wear a regular width shoe. Then it will be a wonderful shoe. The padding is great. Just beware that the sizing is off and adjust before ordering. I did not listen to the recommendations and had to return.

Comfy slip ons

I bought the black leather slip ons at a department store about 4 months ago. They are very comfortable and wear them a lot for work and for casual wear. When they went in sale on the website I ordered the same pair in navy. They are a bit stiff at first, but the more you wear the. The more comfortable they get.

strange heel!

Lovely shoe except that the heel was almost as wide at the toe part. Very strange! So sorry to have to send them back.
