I wanted to love these boots!

I bought these boots because I only like to wear leather footwear. The leather that encapsulates the foot area is a poor quality leather or its faux leather. After wearting the boots for about an hour, my feet started to heat up like I was wearing a plastic bag on my feet. Is the base of the boot really leather???? I really wanted to love these boots, I have to give them a 2-star for that reason. The calf area looks like nice leather, but I question the base.

Nice fitting boots

The boots are nice fitting and are as mentioned. I usually find it difficult to get my calf size right with high boots, but these ones fit like a glove!

Insole came out

As I was taking the packaging out of the boots, the insoles of the boots came out. That was a sign those boots were poorly made and I immediately returned them without even trying them on.

Not necessarily for narrow calves.

Leather is very nice. The knit cloth up the back of the boot droops a bit. My calf is not big enough to take up the slack. Fit around the foot is true to size.
