I was looking for NatureMade Calcium 600 + D3 in the grocery store. For some reason they often are not available. Saw this product and just grabbed two bottles never paying attention to the fact that they are "soft gels". Oh my goodness. They are just over one inch long! I don't have any trouble taking medications but this is ridiculous. Put them in the closet and bought standard tablets.

Vitamins to replicate the MULTI VITAMIN PAK
This is one of the various vitamins that I purchased to replicate the MULTI-VITAMIN packs that were discontinued by Nature Made couple of years ago. I had been taking these vitamins throughout my military career and afterwards, they were great, and they kept me healthy I believe!

Humongous!
These softgels are a choking hazard. I had developed difficulty swallowing the 600 mg hard tablet form, so started crushing them. I hoped the softgel might avoid that hassle. The softgels are just too large. But of course, no way to find that out until I tried. Once was enough. Now I have an essentially full bottle I can't return or use. I wouldn't mind taking multiple smaller softgels to get the calcium I want instead of one gigantic one. I could puncture the softgel and squeeze the contents into something else, but once again, a hassle.

Dangerous
As other people have weighed in…the size of these vitamins are a major choking hazard!! I had to throw them out.

Pill too big to swallow, chokes me
Have used these for a couple years. Reformulated apparently. Now too large to swallow, and very hard. Choked on them twice over the last week and and to stick finger down throat to free the pill up. Scary. These didn't used to be this big.

To Large to swallow
These are way to large to swallow and they can't be cut in half as there liquid inside. Will not purchase again.
