Puckered design

It is attractive, but it is not the effect I wanted. The contrasting lines shrink slightly, so the lines become puckered, creating a wavy effect. You could probably iron them to get a smooth surface, but I don't iron. I hang my whites, so gravity smoothed out the vertical lines.
