Sweater developed a defect after two wears

I got this sweater for my husband, but unfortunately it developed a defect after he wore it just twice. There is fraying fabric and loose threads coming from the edge of the fabric near the neck zipper. I did an online chat asking for a refund since this color and size are out of stock now and was offered a laughable amount of $6 as it has been 2.5 months since the purchase. Do not buy!

Good purchase

Nicer quarter zip that has a bus casual look. Lightweight sweater not the typical sweatshirt. Tried for months to purchase in red, settled for navy. Up sized for more comfortable fit.
