Broken Promises

Startiweaeing these shoes day 1 of my vacation. They wore well for the first 5 days while visiting Carlsbad Caverns, Saquaro National Park, and the Grand Canyon. A little walking, a little biking but nothing excessive. Put them on day 6 and as I was lacing them up, the top eyelet pulled through. I didn't take a spare pair (My bad) of shoes. The shoe felt awkward for the rest of the trip.
