Poor quality, not a hiking boot.
This was a very poor quality pair of shoes. From first use you can tell the sole is very thin as you can feel individual rocks and pebbles under your foot, which is generally not how a hiking boot should be like. After two months of regular use the front toe area came apart from the sole on both shoes, and the heel of the insole started scrunching up and creating divots that dig into my heel, and then broke through to the sole below, also on both shoes. When I step in a shallow puddle my socks and feet get wet. I would avoid buying shoes from Nautica, and this is having me think twice about other brands Macy's may carry.

these shoes let you feel every stone and pebble. I got them wet and they started falling apart

Excellent gripping soles. Very comfortable tongue/upper. Laces were top quality and easy to fasten. 4/5 - because you would expect some water proofing or port holes, but none that I am aware of in this shoe.
