Beautiful coat easy to clean with rag or wash machine. The coat is wind and water proof.
I really loved this jacket
I loved this jacket … However, the jacket was a size medium, and the arms were very long and the jacket was much too big… The jacket did not come in a petite but I truly could’ve used a petite small. It is definitely a beautiful jacket and I was so sad that I needed to return it. I haven’t found a jacket like it that comes in petite size… but trust me, the jacket is really a beautiful jacket…
Never Received
I'm sure I would have loved this coat if it had ever arrived. Indicating "Billing and Shipping address are the same" on an order doesn't seem to matter as Macy's shipped to the address on file instead of the address I indicated. THANK GOODNESS honest people live at my former residence (3+ years ago) and refused delivery. I tried to place a 2nd order but, unfortunately, the coat was out of stock. I've found another one and spent my $$$ with another store. Macy's is now a "last choice" for purchases. (can't find what I need elsewhere, I'll 'consider' Macy's). Was a loyal Macy's customer for probably 35+ years. ~ 5 years ago the decline in Customer Service drove me away. System are too archaic for online. In-store service is excellent, when and where you can get it.
Heavy Winter Coat
This coat is very heavy and warm. It is definitely for very cold weather. It's also very bulky and hard to move in. If you're going to be doing outdoor activities in the winter this is the coat you want. However it's not great for driving due to the bulkiness. So really it depends on your lifestyle. Not great for running errands such as shopping because it gets too hot indoors and it's so big and bulky it takes up most of the shopping cart if you take it off. Hope this helps someone decide. I'm not sure I would've bought it had I read a review like this as I don't spend much time outside in the winter except running errands. It's the second coat I bought due to first not fitting and don't wanna go through returning and finding yet another coat otherwise I'd return it.
Would be great with different hood
Beautiful coat. Very well made. Only complaint is hood has a zipper however zipper does not separate thus not detachable (why?). Also, fur on hood is already shedding out of packaging.
