I have had my machine going on 3 years and it is very inconsistent. I loved it at first but over the past few years, it will not pull water through the machine even after attempts at cleaning and resetting the machine. Given the price, I would expect it to last more than 3 years. Save your money and find a more reliable machine.

Best coffee maker for busy mornings
Nothing beats the convenience of a Nepresso machine on a busy morning. There's tons of different capsule flavors to choose from and the machine heats up and dispenses so quickly. The water reservoir is a decent size and I don't need to refill often. It's also easy to clean the different parts of the machine when needed. The milk frother is also great for milk-based drinks.

Leaks water underneath machine
Purchased a Vertuo Next machine which included the frother - due to having Nespresso at a family member’s home and loved it - the of March, 2025, it started leaking water underneath as well as all over our counter after a couple of weeks, thought it was the water tank, tried another water tank, still leaked but never did when water tank was set on the counter by itself so returned the machine where we purchased, decided to order a Vertuo Evoluo hoping it works better and if it does not we will sadly have to stop drinking Nespresso.

Smaller water trough.
This machine was identical to my last machine with one BIG difference. The water container was much smaller than my last one. I’m not sure why, maybe a different year, older model? But for me having to refill the water trough more often is just a pain.

My life savior
I use my nespresso every single day and I love it so much!!!! Now that I drink espresso I literally can’t do regular coffee. I love how easy and convenient it is to pop a pod in and how fast it gets hot! Literally gets hot in 30 seconds. I couldn’t live without my nespresso. The only downside is the pods are very expensive which sucks but in the end it’s worth it.

Flawed machine, very good coffee if it works.
Lets get the good out of the way. The latest machine has been great at making coffee. Compared to my previous preference French Press. The bad is first it took over 3 machines to get to that point, and now even the good machine is failing. So let's back up, attempt #1 - I bought a refurbished machine at first, the price was excellent. Unfortunately the water tank leaked all over my counter the first moment I filled it up. Never got to even try it. and since it was refurbished I had to buy my own pods so was stuck with the option to throw away all the pods or try another. I foolishly went with the.... #2 - After returning the first I decided to try a new machine. Opted for the Vertuo Next (same as first). This worked for 3 months and honestly in hindsight the coffee wasn't that special, more comparable to French Press It also leaked into the spent pod bin a bit (not as much as what follows). This slowly started to not-recognizing the pods anymore. I was able to limp it along with frequent cleanings, almost daily but that is a waste of energy and time, something the machine was supposed to resolve. #3 - After contacting support, and RMA'd the machine, the next machine seemed to send too much coffee into the overflow pod bin. Coffee was flat, and it eventually just sent all the caffee to the overflow when 'brewing' getting all on the counter top. This was less than 3 weeks after receiving. #4 - This started out great out of the box. The coffee was immediately so many times better than anything before it, exceeding most coffee shops. This is how it should have been from the get go. I took care of it, only filtered water, weekly rinse cycles if not more, descaling at least every 3 mo before prompting from the machine.... No issues for about a year. Then the same problem as #2. It just stopped recognizing pods. It rinses, cleans, descales, motor moves, but will not recognize pods. There is no manual override on these either which is if you could may get around some of the issues. And by an override, I mean a way to force a brew parameters even when the barcode is not recognized.

The standard for all Vertuoline machines
I've had my machine for over a year and have had nothing but great success. Setup was a breeze and time and time again pods work the 1st time. If you by chance mess up a pod or run out of water you can either play the speedy open/close the top or take the loss and pop in another pod. 1 star off because the instrcutions for descalling arent clear and it takes going on youtube to get the right way to run the process. I dont see me needing a new machine anytime soon, but that doesnt mean I dont have a Vertuo Lattissima on my list.
