Great YA thriller/mystery!
I chose this book out of curiosity, never having read a Colleen Hoover book before but eager to read a major bestselling contemporary author. When I found she had co-authored a book with Tarryn Fisher, who I also had my eye on, it seemed like a perfect fit. Mystery, thriller, paranormal, and romance are right up my alley. And I must say, I was caught up in the plot and the characters right from the start. Such an intriguing premise! Two young people who have lost their memories discover they were in love, but their relationship has been totally wiped from their mind, as have the other people in their lives. I was compelled to keep reading to find out what had caused the memory loss. A touch of the paranormal adds to the mystery as Silas and Charlie consider whether they have been abducted by aliens and whether Fate has intervened. Their visit to a psychic confirms that something otherworldly may be responsible for their joint memory loss. As they seek to understand what has happened to them, they rebuild their relationship and discover who they are and who they can trust. I really like the character of Silas, but wasn’t so sure about Charlie. She had two sides (which I suspect was intentional on the part of the author), and I wasn’t sure what Silas saw in her. Although I enjoyed the book, there were parts that slowed it down for me. The lengthy letters used to explain their situation seemed contrived as I doubt many young people today would write love letters to each other instead of simply texting. As well, the explanation for their amnesia was unrealistic, or perhaps not explored enough. I found the plot repetitive, which was annoying, and would have liked more depth. And, in my opinion, the epilogue could have been left out. I would recommend this book for all ages, but feel it fits into the YA category and would be best appreciated by ages 13-21. It was an easy read and kept me interested. Would I read another Colleen Hoover or Tarryn Fisher book? Absolutely! It’s a fun read!

Overall great book
I love this book so much, although it can be slow at time and gets a bit confusing, it has a great plot and it’s very different from an average styled romance book. I love the characters and how they were portrayed too. I totally recommend it, but stay with the book if it gets boring… it’ll be worth it!

Mystery, Romance, and Great Storyline
I was hesitant to buy this book as Hoover collaborated with Fisher and I wasn't sure I'd like the style of writing. However, this book did not disappoint. The mysteriousness of these characters and the journey they go on together hooks reader, while also building up the romance at a satisfying pace.

Different kind of love story!
I really liked this book. It was different from the typical romance. Charlie and Silas are teenagers in love who have known each other since they were babies. They wake up in the middle of a class at school and have no memory of anything. They don't even know their names, but they realize that it's happened to both of them at the same time. This whole book is about them trying to figure out what led up to this happening, why it's happening and what they can do to make it stop.

Slow, Never Gets too Exciting
I’ve read quite a bit of Colleen Hoover’s book so I had high hopes on at least the romance aspect of it but it never got to the point of anything more than teen age relationships. The book started out with just context at first and then it got better. The book was fine overall just seemed a everywhere until the last couple chapters.
