Comfortable, recommended sneaker

I purchased these sneakers as a gift for a friend and he was not disappointed. He says they are one of the most comfortable sneakers he's worn. His true size for most sneaker brands is 7.5 so that is what I went with for these New Balance. He says the New Balance are very comfortable and supportive, but he also mentioned that, compared to other brands of sneakers he wears (sz 7.5) such as Nike, Adidas and North Face...the New Balance are a lot more narrow and a tad smaller in length. However, consider the narrow, tight fit form might be the reason for the added comfort and support. He says it's not a sneaker he can just slip on and off, but if he's going on a walk, he's wearing these. Also, the materials used to craft this sneaker are quality and seem to hold up well so far for mixed weather situation. Hope this helps with your potential purchase!
