Second pair!

I have had a pair of 990v6 for about a year; I had them on while working on a project and I accidentally spilled a liquid that yellow! Four spots of the liquid landed on the toe area of the left sneaker. The spots would not wash out, so I bought a new pair to wear while on vacation! The older pair have be downgraded to everyday wear!

Great shoe for high instep or wide foot

I have a wide foot and a high instep. This 4E shoe provides the room I need without having to go to a bigger size, which shifts the arch. I also have a high arch and this shoe easily accepts an arch support insert. Highly recommend.

Cute shoes but they’re not good for obese people. Very stiff, would be impossible to walk miles in.

New Balance 990vs: my third pair

Just received my 3rd pair of New Balance 990 shoes. Started wearing this model over 10 years ago. Love the light weight, the support, the cushion when running, the comfort with daily wear. I have a short foot for my height due to high arches. I've had many "sneakers" through the years, but since my first pair of 990s, I've stayed with the NewBalance 990s. I love the comfort as well as the look.

Perfect Fit & USA Made!

My husband has a narrow foot & it is very difficult to find narrow shoes for men. He has worn New Balance for years. One of the few athletic shoe makers with narrow widths available & in many styles. These shoes fit him perfectly. He says they are very comfortable. Through the years he has had only one pair of NB that did not last a decent amount of time & did not keep their shape. He said he thinks he remembers they were made in Mexico. Very glad to see they are being made in the USA.
