NB fuel cell echo review

I like the look and feel of the shoe but it hurts the back of your heel when wearing no show socks

I love the Echo

I am a big fan of the Echo. I am now into my third pair, and I have ordered two more pairs just to have on hand for when I wear these out. The ""sock"" type design makes them a tad longer to put on, but then they fit so well and are very comfortable. I use mine mainly for loooong walks with our dog, on my rest days from running.

Great tempo shoe

This is a great tempo shoe. Definitely can feel the speed from it. My only complaint is that the back rides up high on your Achilles. So make sure you have socks that will give you coverage.

Awful. Just awful.

When I tried these on in the store, they were fine but if you plan on wearing them for more than 15 minutes of walking or running, you're beat. The elastic band at the top of the shoe is so painful. I am forced to wear long socks to avoid blisters. C'mon New Balance, seriously. Not sure if the store will take these back or not.
