The New Balance Women’s 574 Core always delivers! So comfy and suitable for casual wear and walking for fitness. Wish there were bright colours available in this style and I also miss the burgundy!

A bit short….
I recently purchased the 574 in the light pink color. It is such a cute shoe and color combo, but I have to say I feel this color ran a bit short in the length. I am a regular women’s size 8 and I found my toes hitting the end and were just uncomfortable. My other 574 core shoes in my usual size 8 fit spot on. Had to return and order a 1/2 size up.

Not true to color
Cute pair of shoes, but the color is more of a lilac (purple) than pink. Therefore, we had to return them.

Cute but too narrow
The look of the shoe is nice, but I find it too narrow. I also went up half a size and glad I did. I was hoping after walking in them a bit they would losen up, but that's not the case.

Not a good fit
These shoes look nice and if your foot is shaped for it, would probably be a nice find. It seems like every time I find a shoe that fits the manufacturer changes the last (pattern). New Balance used to fit me perfectly, but now, while the toe area is wide enough, the heel is too loose, giving me blisters. The instep could be a little higher for me, too. Makes it impossible to shop for shoes online, since every new shoe is a different fit, not matter what the size. I wish we could go back to the old days when shoes fit consistently.

Size up
The shoes fit smaller than expected. So it feels tight around the toes and uncomfortable to walk in them.

Great Shoes for Exercise Walking & Daily Wear
These 574 Core shoes (I have 3 pair) are comfortable, long-lasting, and great for both exercise walking and everyday/all day wear. They are and have been a constant in my 85 years of life.
