Slicer broke after the first slicing attempt cutting summer sausage. The tang is nonexistent so the only connection attempt is the adhesive between the grip and the base of the blade. Luckily I had another set of knives that have a tang. Don’t waste your money.

The quality of this knife set is extremely poor. The knives are dull and rusted. Do not waste your money on this trash.

Had for 6months and 3 out of the 6 knives broke. I would definitely buy a different knife set. Looks nice when you don’t use it.
great set
I’m writing this comment because I saw the poor reviews and was so shocked that others did not share the same experience as me. I bought my set back in 2013 and still use, love, and prefer them to this day. My only complaint with them is that though they have this nice clear holder, it make placing them in the kitchen a pain because the functionality of easily accessing them is lost depending where they are placed e.g. if directly under the cabinet, they are harder to get out because they are large knifes that go vertical. otherwise, they are amazing. very strong, durable blade.

Do NOT buy
I've experienced the handles breaking completely off the blade. They tarnish and get dull quickly. Not good quality. Definitely not worth the amount they're selling for. Save your time and money.
Don't do it
Turns color after washing which makes you not want to display them in stand. Not sharp long
