Silk is a natural fiber, whereas satin is a weave pattern that accounts for your pillowcase's luster and smooth feeling. Satin can be woven from silk, or polyester which allows for a lower price point. Both materials are gentle on skin and hair, reducing hair breakage and loss and helping to prevent sleep wrinkles. We made our satin pillowcases with polyester to ensure that no matter what your budget is, we’ve got you covered with better sleep, better skin, and better hair.

Don't take the cheap route!

I ordered this pillow case set because it was a cheaper option than silk and I didn't see a silk set on night's site. Iguess I should've expected nothing less from the quality. I will be sticking with their silk

Hairdresser recommended

I got this because my hairdresser recommended satin to stop my hair from breaking off in back. I think it's helping quite a bit. My hair isn't as big a mess in the morning, so I'm pretty sure it's helping. Being satin, it feels amazing against your skin and I love that I can match my scrunchie to my pillowcase.
