If you buy these sneakers, go a size up. The sneaker in person is very different from the picture. The material feels wierd. I returned it back to the store, they not like how it looked nor how it fit me

Perfect toddler shoe

Nice slip on for easy on/off but doesn’t fall off unintentionally when running around. After mostly every day wear my 1 year old is wearing out the toe of the sustainable shoe but he’s hard on everything- still not sure how these would hold up for bigger kids more long term. We’re back to get more pairs anyways because our little dude seems comfortable in these and they’re convenient.

Recycled kids' shoe - great. Caution with durability issues

These shoes have a durability/quality issue. This is the 2nd pair I've gotten my son as I thought maybe the first one was a 'one-off' incidence. I was attracted to these shoes for him due to the recycled/sustainability component. But once on the feet of a 10-year old, they break down quick. He's a kid (and not some high performance athlete) so running around in them, I'd hope he be able to log at least 4-5 months out of them. The lacing system is not durable enough to maintain its hold and the elasticity of it just gave out. Then right after that, one side of the loopholes (that the elastic string goes through) came off, rendering the shoe just loose. On the other shoe (of the first pair) the sole wore through very quick. The idea of creating this shoe via recycled products great, the final product - very poorly executed.

Great but flawed laces

My active 5 year old loves these shoes. Says they are super fast. His feet are probably on the normal to wider side, he can slip these on and out the door. But...he's only had them for two months, one lace broke and the other is almost worn through. I get that he's active, maybe they get more wear than another kid who is just wearing them for sitting completely still. In trying to replace the laces, it is sewn in on just one side and impossible to remove (I broke a seam-ripper trying) so had to use the pull-on tab as the top lace. Not sure how well that will work or for how long. Disappointed in that design flaw in shoes he otherwise really likes.

This is a beautiful shoe and my kid loves them but they’re too wide. Normally I would not take 2 stars off for something like this but the length of the shoe is perfect; it’s the fact that there are no actual laces with which to tighten the shoe. Bottom line: the elastic laces are not able to be tightened so kids with slim-to-normal feet widths may not fit in these.

These shoes look even better in person! The fit is so comfortable and the color is nice too!
