I am not running marathons or running for speed, i run to stay in shape, I am also old ha! (51). This shoe is perfect. It is very light, has great support and a little cushiony which is good for me. Very comfortable. Bought it at a Nike outlet store, same price as here.

A little disappointed but it's probably my own fault
Note: This is my first year running distance and is the third running shoe I've owned. This shoe fits well, true to size and stays snug on the foot imo. It is very well cushioned. I bought this shoe because I wanted to try something more cushioned as my joints, knees ect. hurt sometimes after logging down 7+ miles, and I wanted to try something new to see if it helped. It does seem to be more comfortable on the joints, however, I seem to run more awkwardly, slower and with my footfalls being more clunky, in these. I can't run anywhere near as fast in these as in the other shoes I've owned. I think maybe the high drop isn't he right fit for me, but if you like a high drop shoe and are running high mileage this shoe is probably a good fit.

Not for wide-ish feet
I'm a long time Pegasus wearer and wanted something with more cushioning since they've been designed more recently with responsiveness in mind and are not as comfortable anymore for my flat feet. I was excited to try these Vomeros and could tell they would've been comfortable if they actually fit well. I have wide-ish feet and can usually fit into a regular shoe, but these were too narrow for me. I tried to exchange them for the wide shoe, but they were no longer available in my size. I suppose I'll have to try them next time the wide size is available.

Best shoes for half marathon distance!
Perfect cushion, padding and comfort for mid-foot runners! A good upgrade after pegasus. the padding on top foot is perfectly balanced!

Even extra wide is not extra
I had purchased a pair of Nike Revolution 3 extra wide's and they fit me perfectly so I thought I would get the Vomero 11 extra wide and there is definitely a difference between the 2, the Vomero is definitely not as "wide" as the Revolutions. It's hard enough finding decent wide width shoes, and it's more frustrating that even shoes within a brand aren't consistent in width.

super comfortable
I'm a longtime Vomero and Pegasus devotee. This Vomero line is incredibly comfortable. It's a bit narrower than models past but you work into it. I run around twelve miles a week; road and treadmill. These work great - I highly recommend them.

Very Comfortable on long distances
I switched to these from the Nike Pegasus. The balls of my feet would get sore in the Pegasus after 10 miles or so. Not a problem in the Vomeros. A super comfortable cushioning neutral shoe for a heel striker like me.The only thing I would change is some additional arch support.
