More of a orange than red

Color is not the same as the picture at all. It looks more like a bright reddish orange. Looks orange a lot of the time. The red in the picture is a lot better. I’d say going up in price for the flex stride is a better option overall.

Runs small, really small

The shorts run really small. I have 2 pair of similar nike shorts in large, which I wear all the time, they are the best shorts, so I bought these in large. The new shorts barely fit around my thighs. I am 6'2" 195lbs I always wear a large in everything, until now! If you do squats and deadlifts be sure to size up, these shorts are cut for someone with skinny legs. I am going to have to reorder 2XL.

Pockets are terrible

The shorts in general are pretty good. However the pockets are waaaaaay too deep, especially since the inseam is only 5". When I put anything in my pocket, it sticks out on the bottom part of the shorts. I'm going to sew the pockets up higher to fix the issue. Other than that, the shorts are great.

Save your money!

Shorts are comfortable enough. Problem is with the pockets. They hang way too low for 5in shorts! No matter what you put in your pocket, it will definitely hang below the seam of the shorts. What a joke!

Just OK

The lining is comfortable, but the elastic around the legs is tighter than it needs to be. Also, the outer shell fabric does have a slightly coarse, plastic feel. However, after you put them on you don't really notice it any longer. Same thing with the elastic. It's most noticeable when putting them on. After they're on, I'm not all that aware of it.

Spend your money elsewhere

I would not recommend these shorts. I’ve owned many Nike running shorts over the years and they typically make outstanding gear. These feel like they’re made from a plastic grocery bag and the way they’re poorly constructed. The inseam and rise are all jacked up and my legs feel like they’re fighting the shorts with each stride. Spend your money on something else.
