Overall, these were good exercise shorts. The material is different than the traditional gym shorts I wear - lighter weight which would great for outdoor workouts but also a bit stiffer. They seems to wear well after multiple washes with no signs of fading yet. As a taller individual, I found the length was perfect. I have a larger than average build and I tend to find most shorts these days running shorter than I like for my frame. These were still above the knee but comfortable for me. The size was true to other Nike products I’ve worn fitting just as I’d expect an XL to. Overall, I was pleased with these shorts and appreciate having the variety in my workout clothes.

Comfortable Athletic Shorts

Whether you’re walking the dog or heading to the gym the Nike Flex shorts have you covered! The material is a little more structured than a basketball short so they do have a bit of a nicer, cleaner look to them but they do move with you and hold up to a workout. The one thing that did bug me was the size of the pockets. Cell phones are big now and be barely fit. Nike is known for running a little small so you might want to size up with these if you want your shorts to be roomier.

Pocket love!

Pockets! Oh boy! While these shorts were too tight in my thighs, they fit my husband perfectly. He has worn them casually and to run in. Perhaps his favorite feature is the pockets. He says they are lightweight, comfortable and they move with him when he is on the go. He especially likes the inner pocket for wallets/keys and they don't get in the way when he does squats.
