Excellent Buy

I highly recommend this shoe to anyone. Their very light so if your running on the treadmill or on concrete its great. They also look stylish so you can wear them other places than the gym and for the price it can't be beat

Great balance between barefoot feel and cushion

I have tried a few different styles of "barefoot" shoes and so far I am liking the Nike 4.0. Compared to a Vibram Five Finger or Merrell Vapor they have a lot more padding. I think "barefoot" more refers to the lack of arch. As someone with flat feet, I used to wear shoes with high arch supports and they were inadvertently causing me a lot more pain. I don't consider these shoes completely minimalist, they definitely have a good amount of cushion but are light weight and comfortable for my needs. I run 2-4 miles per day on varying terrain.
