Nice, but not so durable...

I purchased these a little over four months ago. In less than four months I already had a hole starting to form at the area of the big toe (and I don't even wear them daily). Disappointing because I do like the look of these shoes and they weren't cheap! I've never had this issue before. Runs large so I had to get a 1/2 size smaller than my usual.

Simply the best 'Free' yet

I think I've run every model of minimal-drop-and-cushion Nike Free created, and this is by far the best yet. Light, responsive, stable with just enough cushion. Toe box fits my wide foot perfectly, which is rare in a shoe (for me). Super comfort up to 15 miles (haven't pushed them farther yet). Nike finally got the lace length correct, and the larger, more open sipe pattern greatly reduces the number of rocks that you pickup, a problem that plagued earlier frees. Seriously, I don't think you can improve on this shoe if you like minimal 'frees'.

Good for Casual Activities, Not So Much Running.

I've had these shoes for about 8 months and they've still held up pretty well. I use them primarily while walking to and from class, as well as for the gym. While I like these, I think there are plenty of other better options if you are a serious runner. The fit is nice - it conforms to your foot, isn't too wide - but the stability isn't really there. My toes are pretty much touching the end, but I still feel like my foot is swimming when I'm jogging or sprinting. Side to side, front to back, I feel like my feet can't stay centered over the sole of the shoe. Not too many complaints about this shoe aside from the stability aspect. I've also twisted my ankle a few times. I look forward to trying out the Lunarepic 2.

The most comfortable shoes I've ever owned!

In all fairness, I'm not a real runner. I only run about 2.5 miles per day, 5 - 6 days a week on city streets. However, I have to say these shoes are GREAT! They are incredibly light-weight and comfortable - arguably more comfortable than my slippers! I find myself wearing them even when I'm not running. They feel good on multiple surfaces. They have a great all-around fit, with a flexible and supportive sole. I'm not sure if I would consider these a hardcore running shoe as I like a little more rigidity for serious activities. But for light running on fairly smooth surfaces, these shoes are great!

I can't believe they were made for running...

These shoes are incredibly comfortable for walking around and casual use - but they are dangerous if you're going to actually run in them. There is no stability in these shoes, so when you feet leaves the ground it slides from side-to-side. After logging about 10 miles in them I started suffering pain in my achilles and my plantar fasciitis started flaring up. If you don't plan on running on them they are fantastic, but look elsewhere if you're a serious runner.

Super Light Weight

It wasn't very comfortable at first when I start wearing it,but it is getting a lot better after free run. This shoe is very light weight and make me feel like bare foot, but the cushion protect your feet very well.

Very comfortable shoes BUT durability is 3-5 months

These shoes are fantastic for comfort and walking but they lasted a mere 5 months using them 2-3 times a week for an hour workout. Very disappointed as they are not cheap; you would think they would last. The upper ring around your ankle is pulling apart and makes it unusable. Nike should fix these issues. We paid good money for ridiculously poo quality.
