Men's Odyssey React Flyknit 2 Running Sneakers from Finish Line
Product Details
Web ID: 9926920Underrated due to size and construction, but could be Amazing!
note: 200+ lbs. Flat feet, overpronator, advanced non-elite road racer. CONS: Too small, tight fit. No stretch. A bit warm. PROS: Light weight, a great balance of cush and responsiveness. Supportive for all paces and distances. This shoe could be great for former Lunarglide fans, current Structure wearers, Nike Zoom Fly racers, who didn't quite fit in the Infinity's. Shoes are personal. This WOULD be a personal favorite if it wasn't for the CONS. Even with the tight and warm fit, I can't help to still have fun running faster than easy to tempo in these shoes. Possibly even a 5k/10k racers for us bigger faster runners who like a bit of support. The Infinity is beloved by so many but didn't work for me. This one would if they would make the fit closer to the Infinity and and Zoom Fly. Then I would only have 5 shoes. Renew Run (Easy, Recovery), Structure (Easy, Long), Odyssey (Easy, Speed/Tempo, 5k/10k), Zoom Fly 3 (Long tempo, Half to Marathon). And maybe the Vapor Fly with insoles to take to Boston?

Great, would get half size bigger
Very comfy but a bit tight. It runs like half a size smaller. It feels great when running

First Nike Shoe to Truly Disappoint
I’m really disappointed with the upper on this shoe. It feels and looks cheap. The upper doesn’t stretch and the toe box is super narrow. The tongue is A weird semi-gussetted style almost like a mocassin. It just doesn’t work. I’m a perfect 10.5 size in all other Nike shoes, but this shoe is super tight and narrow where my toes actually bang into the upper. I’ve worn size 10.5 Nike Pegasus 33, 34, 35 turbos, Nike Next%, 4% and Infinity React Flyknits and had plenty of room. But not these shoes. I also LOVE all my other Nike shoes listed; except for these. Yes they’re light, but the uppers are a cheap material and also the shoe has no rocker feeling to it. It’s a super flat sole. It really feels like running in a pair of tight moccasin slippers attracted to a skinny React sole. The React foam feels good, but it’s a very narrow base. I’m tempted to just throw this shoe out, but will probably donate them instead.

Comfy kicks
Bought these for everyday shoes and not for running, and they're extremely comfortable and supportive for that purpose. They don't seem to have as much support for running, for which I go with Nike's Pegasus line.

Small and narrow
Purchase and returned 3 pairs so far. Usually a 9.5, tried all the way up to an 11 and still hurt my feet. Giving up.

Great cushion
The cushioning is great but, the sneaker’s toe box is narrow. Definitely have to go size up a half or full. I returned my pair to get larger size... Unable to comment on durability

uncomfortably small
runs smaller, size up to at least 1/2 to full size.

Too much pronation support for me
My feet love the cushion of the React soles, but my favorite shoe is the Epic React. I’m less happy with the Odyssey, because it has added structure and support, and my feet prefer less support. These have stronger pronation prevention/arch support than the Epic, so they might be better for some people, but these hurt my feet after less than an hour in them (whereas I can wear the Epics all day, for ten hours on my feet, and my feet feel great at the end of the day).
