NOT FOR FLAT FEET AND OVERPRONATION!
Literally the worse shoe if you have flat feet and require stability. These shoes made me overpronate and roll inwards horribly when running causing me overcorrect and run in supination, especially on my right feet. This then caused pain on my right outer thigh and glutes right below my hips. The midsole is narrow even in 8.5 Extra Wide and I trief fittibg my inserts given by my podiatrist with a slighty raised heel and arch support, I felt like I was gonna slip out of these shoes. Should've stuck with Brooks, Asics, or New Balances for flat feet, stability, and overpronation. I don't know how my podiatrist could've recommended an awful show like this.

Pegasus versus Vomero.
I bounce around between my everyday Pegasus and walking Vomero Extra-Wide shoes; and the Vomero is no longer available. So, I'm hoping that the updated Pegasus version will inherit some of the Vomero traits. So far, the only significant difference noticed is in the Stability and cushioning.

Crushing Downgrade from Pegasus 38
The Pegasus wide has been my favorite running shoe for the past seven years. Coming from the Pegasus 38 as a daily neutral trainer, the Pegasus 41 is a letdown. The cushioning has lost the ground feel of the 38; the new foam is too cushy, creating uncertainty in my landing. That's fine, but the foot shape was changed, and it doesn't fit anymore. Worse, the long-running manufacturing design defect remains unaddressed. The Pegasus 41 has missing fabric at the forefoot under the footbed insert. I run on my forefoot, and this spot is exactly where my foot lands. I took this shoe out running four times, and the last 5-mile run bruised the underside of my forefoot for weeks at that spot. I had to return it. I wish I had bought more Pegasus 38s when they were in stock!

Quality Shoe
A very good, quality shoe. My EXTRA WIDE shoes fit well. I've been wearing Pegasus since the mid-80s. Only "con" is the Crimson swoosh isn't a true crimson, it has a tad of orange in it. It's a red tone though. I thought it would be similar to the Alabama crimson color- a dark tone.

Comfortable and light but…
Shoes are very comfortable and light. However, I would wear it just as a normal walking shoe or for short runs. I ran at least 40 miles with the shoe for a month and a half. For my long runs (6-14 miles) there’s barely any support in the front of the shoe. I could practically feel the ground. It wasn’t bad at all on my runs but I’d like my shoe to have my support in the front. So unfortunately, I will be returning it and trying another brand.
