Would Not Recommend.

Wouldn’t recommend these shorts based on fit, functionality, and durability. If you like more of a fitted look, these aren’t for you. The zipper pocket on the left makes it hard to put things into because it’s basically backwards and when I washed my black pair (air dry) dye faded rather quick.

Best shorts ever

I've always avoided the tech fleece shorts and pants because they were so tight-fitting, but these are finally a little looser while not being too loose. Now they're out of stock and I'm wishing I had gotten about four pairs of these instead of just one.

Cool, but not great

I wish Nike would bring back the Tech Fleece Shorts 2.0 because the length was perfect! These are not so much as they come above the knee no matter what size you get. Plus the 2.0's had two pockets and a long zipper pocket along the side.

Buyers Beware of Sizing!

Love these shorts, however they run larger than my previous generation Nike tech fleece shorts. This is not a hassle for me since I like a looser fit. If you want a perfect fit I would go a size down. For reference, I purchased a size large and am 6'1 185 lbs.

Why did they change the fit?

Like other reviewers, I lament the fact that Nike switched up the style and cut of these shorts... they used to be perfect (for me) because they were a little different than everything else on the market... a touch longer and slimmer than your average sweatshort with a really cool and modern cut. I recently bought a new pair and was really bummed to find the new version is fairly loose and and the cut is a bit odd. It looks and feels like so many other regular sweatshorts.

Excellent quality, design & functionality

Great short to wear daily. Love that it has some cotton for softness and that it limits static cling, especially like the zippered pocket to erase worries of my iPhone falling out. Typically wear a size small (5'9" tall, 30" waist) but size medium is perfect: a little bit more room but not too big at all.

Perfectly Versatile

I needed new workout/casual sportswear that's respectable when going out. I use them in lieu of chino shorts when I want comfort. Be careful washing them and turn them inside out when washing in cold water. I had a pair get beat up after one watch when I didn't.
