The best waterproof jacket I own

This is hands down the best waterproof/windproof jacket I own. Especially if you love Nike, this is going to be your new go to for rainy days. This review is based off the Medium size in the black colorway. I'm 5'8" with a chest circumference of around 37.5 Inches, Shoulder width of 21 inches and a waist/pant size of 32 Inches. First off, the backpack-like Tech strap system inside is super useful; getting too hot? not windy nor rainy anymore but you're still out and about? especially a longer styled jacket like this could be a burden to carry. I've seen this system on other tech wear, but I believe this is the first one Nike implemented in their apparel, I'm really hoping we'll see more of this in the future. As far as the sizing; I would say it runs true to size but slightly large. It has a more form fitting shoulder hug with spacing that gradually flares from your mid section to bottom. most likely to compensate for what ever base and mid layers that you would wear under it. I have no problems about the sizing whether wearing a light or mid weight under layer. I would say the only issue about sizing you might have will be the length of the sleeves; as there's nothing to secure the cuffs to the wrists. Although tapered, I do wish there was some kind of secure fit strap for my wrist. The length of my shoulder down to my wrist, is about 22 Inches; the sleeves here (Size M) are probably around 25 inches. As far as the material and weather protection; The Nike shield material is quite lightweight; easy for packing and wearing. Not too thick or thin, but enough to feel substantial in the wind and rain; I live in the Pacific North West where it rains all the time and it's been keeping me dry just fine. Now onto warmth; as long as you have some type of under-layer to fit the situation, you'll be warm and toasty. This was more made so that you wouldn't even feel a thing, no wind, no wetness, just comfortable dryness. Today I was making my way to work in the rain, wearing my work long sleeve t-shirt, tech knit bomber as midlayer (which is quite thin), and this tech shield over it; not a lot of bulk, BUT had a lot of warmth; and I seriously didn't feel a thing in this rainstorm we just had today. I think I've spoken enough, if you have the moolah to fork over; you should definitely get it; don't hesitate, this is seriously the best water/windproof jacket I have. Especially with the fact that you can't get this Nike tech look anywhere else. Btw, speaking of looks; this is the best long line jacket design I've ever seen; not just by Nike, but EVER. Like non stop compliments; shoulders lookin broad, hood collar poppin makin you look like a lion, lookin tech as heck from the head down to your toes. Alright I'm out ya'll!
