old version better

Bring back the old version! I bought the 12 and 13, couldn't wait for the 14. This new style/version was uncomfortable and narrow. Where was the cushion, comfort, and width this style used to have. I miss my old Vomero's.

What happened to Nike quality?!!! Utter waste of $$$

I almost never write reviews, but this outraged me to the point of taking pics, signing up with Nike so I could post a review, and writing the review. This is for the Vomero 14 running shoe. I purchased these shoes a couple years ago with a pair of Nike Pegasus 35 Turbo running shoes. (Please see my review of the Pegasus shoes because they fell apart with just INSIDE walking use!!) The soles on both shoes are paper thin. I used the Vomero shoes for mostly walking and light jogging on treadmill and the sole wore out in a matter of a couple months. HEY NIKE, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND STOP USING INFERIOR MATERIALS AND SHODDY MANUFACTURING TECHNIQUES!! Do yourself a favor, purchase another brand until Nike stops thinking about their bottom line and actually makes a quality product again. Worthless!

Great, reliable shoes

I am 80 years old and have been wearing the Nike Air Zoom Vomero for years at the gym. I use the elliptical for half and hour and other equipment in addition. Right now i am walking 2 1/2-3 miles/day wearing these shoes. I have never had knee, hip, or foot problems which are common with people my age. Needless to say, I am sticking to these shoes. I normally wear a 71/2 regular shoe, but with orthotics, I wear an 81/2 Nike Air.

Vomero is tops

I have been running for about 20 years and have tried several different brands and models. To me, the Nike Vomero is at the top. I got this pair of Vomeros for my wife for Christmas. She also feels the shoe is as good as it gets.

They’re ok.

I’ve loved my vomero’s and buy them when I’ve gone through old ones, but this time they seem to fit a bit too snug. I usually buy a half size up and it’s usually perfect with room to run comfortably. This time, it’s very different. A whole size up would have me tripping over myself. Might have to look into other running shoes.

Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

These shoes are very comfortable, fit true to my regular size. As far as durability, they seem to do quite well as I walk and work out every day.

Not the same vomeros

My beloved Vomeros are no more-- the 10s, 12s, and 13s were fantastic for my feet. This redesign seemed drastic so I decided to break them in by taking a short walk. Within less than a mile, the top of my foot started aching, as in my foot was being broken in, not the shoe!

Not as expected

After researching and reading reviews looking for a distance running shoe. These vomeros looked like they would fit that need. With being designed for long distances. Unfortunately was not the case for me. I’ve gave them 2 10mile runs to see if they would change. However I found my forefoot always left feeling not enough cushioning, and half way through the run I had to consciously heel strike which is not my natural foot behavior. Otherwise great shoe. Forefoot strikers beware.
