Not fit for distance running
I bought these shoes for marathon training. They are fine for short runs, but not supportive for distances. My feet ached in the strangest spots after runs. I've never had this happen before. Also the tread was worn off in one month. They were definitely not worth the price. But they sure are cute!

Love the fit and the style. 10/10
In late November I ordered a pair of Adidas shoes and they never showed up( said they shipped 3 1/2 weeks after i ordered them). With their refund of my money I decided that I would purchase a pair of nikes. I ordered them on a Tuesday and they showed up on a Friday. I am very impressed with the quality of these shoes, they are very supportive and comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone!

Almost perfect!
The shoes look great and are super comfortable too. The only issue I’ve been having is that the back is rubbing my ankles and giving me blisters. Hopefully that’ll stop once I break them in more. Overall a great shoe!

Runs small
I just received these shoes and they are very comfortable but I agree with others who say that if you have a medium or wide foot, you will have to go up an entire size. I usually wear a 10.5 but I order an 11 bec my foot is somewhat wide. I received theese in the 11 and the toes area is great but this shoe does not have as much room as I expected. I plan to keep them because they are comfortable and have very good support but if I order another pair, I may go for the 11.5 but I'm not sure bec. I don't want them to be too big. I had that problem once when I ordered another Nike shoe in wide and it was too wide.

You need to size up and wear thin socks!
I am 51 year old female, 130 lbs, lifelong runner. I always run in Nike shoes and have purchased probably 30 pair in the past 20 years. I always purchase a size 7 and they fit my foot perfectly. I will mention that I do not like my shoes to fit tightly and i never snug down my shoe laces. So for me a Nike size 7 is a comfortable but roomy fit. I read several reviews saying that the Nike Odyssey React runs small, but I decided to order the size that always fits me. When I tried them on I realized that the tongue of the shoe is not separate from the shoe. I love the fat padded tongue on many of the Nikes I own because I like to wear thin low height socks. On the Nike Odyssey the tongue is sewn down to the shoe on both sides and is less of a tongue and more of a stretchy piece of fabric that fits around your foot. Somehow I missed that info before purchasing the shoe because i mostly just focused on all the photos of the shoe and not the shoe description. I put the shoes on several times trying to figure out how to slide my sock covered foot through the tight opening without scrunching up my sock. Kinda felt like trying to put a sock on over a sock. Once I got the shoes on I was sold on the cushion level which is a number one priority for me as an older runner. Over the next few days I wore the shoes for 15 min at a time ending up frustrated that they felt too snug. I can honestly say that the shoes didn't feel too small, they felt too snug. Beyond that I loved the shoe and did not want to return it. I tried the shoes without socks and even with socks with the insole removed and it was a perfect fit so the shoe isn't too small, just too snug. The best solution seemed to be different socks. I tried several very thin socks and the answer was still - NOPE! I returned the shoes and ordered 1/2 size larger. The slightly larger size feels like a completely different fit. It fits perfectly and does not feel too large. I am wearing Wrightsock ultra thin socks with this pair of Nikes. I wear Wrightsock coolmesh II socks with all my other Nikes. I don't feel like you could wear heavy socks with this shoe. The cushion level of this shoe is very similar to the Nike Air Zoom Vomero 12 that I am currently running in. I love my Vomeros for 3 mile runs & runs in cooler weather but I wanted something cooler for summer. The fit of the Odyssey is similar to my old Nike Lunareclipse 5 shoes which I have to replace due to high mileage. They have been my half marathon shoes several times over. I run on the front of my feet and always search for good fore foot cushion. The Odyssey provides that. In past years i've also run many miles in Nike Shox but they are too heavy for the longer distances. The Odyssey is a very light well cushioned shoe. I also own many pairs of the Lunarglide 7 shoes but use them only for high mileage walking. The Odyssey is more streamlined & weighs less than the Lunarglide 7.

Size too small
I love this purchase, but the only negative thing about this is that it is a little bit too tight. If you have a narrow feet this pair of shoes would be perfect for you, but if you don’t, you might have to think about getting a size bigger.

I love these! Bought 2 pair!
I sent my Epic Reacts back and tried out the Odyssey. I loved them so much that I bought a second pair 3 weeks later. I wear them to the gym and I have run up to 4 miles in them. They won't be replacing my typical marathon shoe but they are great for the mileage I have done in them. I wish they'd come out with more colors.

Very comfortable but size up!
I really like this one but remember to size up if you have normal/wide feet! I usually wear 7.5 in all other NIKE shoes and I had to exchange for 8.5 for Odyssey React.
