Front toe area started to fray after only one time

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are beautiful and my two year old seemed to be comfortable in them….but after only about 2 hours of wearing them they started to fray at the front toe area. I couldn’t believe after just a couple of hours they already started falling apart. The quality is terrible for the shoes to fray so easily, especially after using them once.
