Looked used- very narrow

I love the look of these boots, the shaft height is perfect, they're not overly clunky and are neater looking than most Chelsea boots currently out there. My issues were they're way too narrow and the pair I received looked and felt like they were previously worn. The ladder wouldn't bother me so much, I got a good deal, but they were too narrow for my feet.
