I think the leather and color is great and rich and yes the leather will wear but that is part of the look. I love that the heel is covered in leather as well but guessing that will show wear quicker. They have a super comfy insole and feel great but I do think they run a bit on the big side. Also because of the fit I think they are a bit noisy. Not sure if that will go away with time but there is not sneaking up on anyone with these bad boys.
