OK here’s what they don’t tell you about the sizes… XL is actually a European 42, and XXL is a European 44… so do NOT believe the US sizes, but DO believe the Euro sizes. and note that it runs a size smaller than what you expect. I am a US XL, which is actually a 46 European…So had this dress come in a 46, it would be a XXXL, and it would’ve been perfect. It’s a thinner but “strong enough” material, with no lining, perfect for a tropical climate or a night out in Miami… I wish it was a size 46/XXXL. I might see if my tailor can do some magic, but there is no margin for error on these seams and I’d need a second dress to get enough fabric to let it out The pattern is cool and hides problem areas, the yellow is muted and the brown is dark enough to potentially pass as black…. if only Macy’s advertised the actual tag size…which is a European size, rather than a poor translation, and I would not have to waste my time with a return, because I never would’ve purchased a size 44/XXL. Sigh.
