When looking for china settings we knew we wanted something classic but not plain! This was the perfect set! The amount of compliments I got on this pattern was crazy! I also love the classic tea cup look, so many newer places are doing a mug type of look! It's beyond perfect!

Granddaughter loved it

Beautiful, Classic Pattern
My husband and I were overwelmed by pattern choices at the department store - we each picked our top 3 favorites and this was the one that we both choose (independently!) as our favorite. We both love the pattern - we wanted something that we didn't think we'd get tired of over the years and that would look good at any time of year / any kind of meal. My husband especially likes the shape of the coffee cups. Each time we opened a wedding present from this collection, we were surprised how we still oh-ahhed over the pattern, feel and elegant beauty. HIghly recommend!

Understated and still beautiful!
I selected this pattern for our wedding registry because it was intricate, but still understated enough to not take over the table. We've had the set for almost 6 years and it still looks brand new. Not a single point of wear on the platinum rings around the edges. Which is great because we make an effort to have a nice dinner about once a month in order to use the pieces. What's the point of getting this beautiful china if it just sits locked away? We even bought a china cabinet with inside lighting in order to display it all. And I purposely bought some coordinating Christmas ornaments to decorate the cabinet over the holiday season. I've had many different colors combos of tablecloths & napkins and this has looked great with them all. I've never seen another set or brand & wished I had gotten that instead. So happy with this pattern & overall quality. It's timeless!

This pattern combines traditional and modern ideas
I am happy with the Montvale Platinum. The Platinum goes well with either sterling or stainless flatware, and the modern shape of the cups is also right for today. I enjoy the variations in the size of the border pattern, which makes the table setting more interesting.
