Not the same

I purchased 2. One to replace a 6-7 year old one that burned out this year and another as a backup. Neither came with clear line to hang them with. They are different from the originals and, while I can see how they may be more sturdy, they look like they are still in the packaging, like a cardboard backed, clear plastic-topped package. There is a hole punched through, which we thought would be for the suction cup hook, but it doesn't fit. So it must be for the missing string.
