L-cysteine is a lesser known supplement that can help improve skin, hair, and nails and, so far, is helping my nails and skin and beginning to help my hair. I have been pregnant or breastfeeding for most of the past 16 years with only a couple years break or less in between, and have really felt my skin and hair decline since. My nails are also brittle and break really easily. My main concern is my hair shedding like crazy because I am 1.5 years post partum and my hair still hasn’t stopped falling out. I haven’t seen a huge change in my hair yet but I know any effective treatment can take up to a few month for results to be more noticeable. I have noticed my nails are growing a bit faster and stronger, as well as my skin is a bit smoother and clearer than usual. I can’t wait to see how much it will help my hair in the coming months. The capsule is on the larger size but still easily goes down with a bit of water.
